A reflection tool for discovering your best swing.

Les McDougall

Hi, I’m Les

Born and raised on a farm in rural Saskatchewan, Canada I learned the value of hard work and self-reliance early in life.

Over the years, I've channeled my hands-on experience and entrepreneurial spirit into inventing several products, always driven by a passion for problem-solving and innovation.

Today, I co-own FourLink Golf company with my wife Tracy and our two daughters, Kali and Claire - a family business that combines creativity, strong principles and a shared love for the game.

My Inspiration For FourLink

Palmer’s Head Position

The FourLink’s adjustable mirror helps you see and position your forward ear - keeping it over and behind the ball for a stock swing. Monitor and refine your setup with ease.

Rory McIlroy’s Takeaway

Adjust the FourLink to your hands to ensure a straight back takeaway. Jack Nicklaus advised Rory of the importance of a straightback takeaway. Full shots, chipping and putting.

Xander’s Stability

Use the FourLink to check your back leg/knee and hips, keeping weight inside of your trail foot for a powerful, sway-free hip turn. Practice with confidence.

Tiger’s Elbow

The FourLink’s angle adjustment tracks your trail elbow to stay down and in during the downswing as you shift pressure into your forward heel.

How FourLink Helped Me

1) Ball position relative to my forward ear as per Arnold Palmer. Ball position relative to your feet is important, but more important for me is ball position relative to your head at address. My forward ear over the ball at address is critical for my setup. Just like the great Arnold Palmer.

2) Hands in the takeaway as per Rory McIlroy and Jack Nicklaus. Straight back takeaway keeping the clubface '"looking at the ball” for the first 12 inches or so. Jack Nicklaus told Rory to "“imagine a razor blade in front of his hands” in the takeaway.

3) No sway backswing. Trail hip turns behind you as per Xander, Arnold, Jack, Tiger, Rory, Scottie etc. Your trail knee must never sway outward.

4) Downswing as per Tiger in 2000. As the pressure shifts to your forward heel the trail elbow moves down and in front.

In just a few weeks with the Fourlink Mirror Golf Alignment Stick, I learned more about the DNA of my golf swing than I learned in the previous 30 plus years. It has made me a better player. A more self-aware, self-correcting player.

The golf swing can be as complicated or as simple as you want to make it - choose simple.
